Job Summary

This role involves providing high-level support to the healthcare team in the Emergency Department Short Stay Unit (EDSSU). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing rostering, payroll, recruitment and workforce-related activities.

* Main Responsibilities:
* Support nurses and midwives on the ward/unit by ensuring efficient management of workload and tasks
* Ensure accurate and timely data entry, report preparation and administrative coordination of patient care and quality initiatives
* Coordinate resources, supplies, meetings, student placements and travel to ensure smooth functioning of the ward/unit

About You
\
* You will have relevant administrative qualifications or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting
* Strong organisational, problem-solving and time management skills with ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
* A collaborative and patient-focused approach valuing teamwork accuracy and service delivery
* A current NSW Working with Children Check
