We are seeking a dynamic and experienced educator to join our team as a Curriculum Coordinator for Years 3-6. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the educational journey of our students, fostering their growth and development in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of programs in Years 3-6, ensuring alignment with school and national standards. They will work closely with teachers to support curriculum implementation, modelling lessons and coaching staff to enhance student outcomes.

Key responsibilities include managing assessments, analysing student data, and maintaining student progress trackers. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Head of Primary to facilitate professional learning programs, oversee class budgets, and implement key literacy initiatives.

This role requires a highly organised and motivated individual who is committed to implementing best practices in curriculum development and assessment. A passion for literacy and library services is essential, as the role involves promoting a love of reading, managing library resources, and coordinating engaging programs such as book clubs and reading challenges.

The successful candidate will also coordinate the Gifted and Talented Program – NEWTON 3-6, developing an engaging curriculum to challenge and support high-achieving students. A strong commitment to a Christian worldview, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to inspire both staff and students are essential.


Requirements

* Be a Christian, sharing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
* Adhere to the 'Staff Code of Conduct' and 'Child Safe Policy.'
* Promote the College in the community and surrounding districts.
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, families, and team members.
* Recognised teaching qualification and current TRB registration.
* Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to enable professional interaction with a range of people.
* A current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
