Assistant Accountant Role Overview
NC Associates are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of our client based in Knowsley. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who will be joining an international organisation and will get excellent career development within the business. As the Assistant Accountant you will be working in a small team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:
* Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts
* Production reporting including various variance analysis.
* Preparation and posting of journals – payroll, prepayments, accruals
* Product costing, stock reporting, and stock reconciliations
* Assisting with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements as needed.
* Month end reporting.
* Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Assistant Accountant Experience Required:
* A professional accounting qualification or part-qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail in all aspects of financial work.
* Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
* Ambition and drive to grow with the business
* Exceptional communication skills
