**The Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our unit, you will lead a team of skilled technical staff responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles and machinery in support of Airside operation, GSE for visiting aircraft and driver training.
You will be required to:
- Establish and maintain a Technical Support Network to meet maintenance responsibilities.
- Manage the professional development of all technical personnel.
- Assess technical packages including scoping, planning and reviewing of packages and provide recommendations for consideration.
- Manage workflows, resources, prepare work area and team plans detailing measurable milestones and expected outcomes.
- Prepare and formulate annual and FY budgets against the sections goals and strategies, and responsible for achieving budgetary targets of expenditure and output.
**About our Team**
The 30SQN Mechanical Equipment Operations and Maintenance Section (MEOMS) provide technical maintenance support ensuring continued base flying operations.
30SQN MEOMS also provide a driver training capability for ADF and small arms maintenance and repair for the base. The team consists of full time APS Logistics and Road Movements Officer, APS Maintenance Systems Officer, APS Vehicle Mechanics and a Fitter and Turner, as well as many RAAF Reservist supporting in a variety of roles.
