The primary focus will be on cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, mastering account management skills, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Client Partner in coordinating and executing sales strategies for major accounts.Conduct research to compile key account information, including decision-makers, business challenges, and industry trends.Contribute to a high performance environment and act with clarity on strategy, objectives and deliverables.Assist the Client Partner in identifying and developing tailored solutions to address client needs and challenges.Support the delivery of high-quality outputs across client brief responses, including presentations (Google Slides) and client schedules (Google Sheets).Maintain positive relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.Assist in maintaining and updating strategic account plans with objectives, timelines, and key action items.Facilitate communication between internal teams to ensure alignment with sales and organisational goals.Manage scheduling, documentation, and follow-ups for sales meetings, presentations, and client interactions.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and performance metrics in CRM systems.Prepare reports and track sales performance against targets, flagging any deviations for further action.Provide administrative support for client engagement efforts, including event coordination, contract processing, and correspondence.Who are you?Digital marketing experience is preferable but not essential.Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.Strong communication and written skills, with the ability to deliver messages clearly.Passionate about the media and advertising industry, with a keen interest in emerging trends.Ability to understand client needs to support the team in developing and crafting solutions.Working knowledge of MS Office or Google Suite.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage competing priorities.Adaptability to changing environments (new selling solutions, products, ways of working).Previous sales experience is desirable.Experience in Salesforce is desirable.News Benefits is our way of saying thank you to our people for their valued contribution to News, our audiences, clients, and communities.
