We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management Consultant to support a major project within the logistics and billing domain. This role requires hands-on expertise, strong functional knowledgeand the ability to work within strict project timeframes in an asset-intensive industry environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with client SMEs to assess and optimise SAP TM billing functionality and streamline related solutions
* Configure SAP TM/ECC and update Functional Specifications to support the rollout of new billing capabilities
* Develop functional specifications and deliver configuration/enhancements across: Forwarding Agreements and Order Management – planning & execution
* Charge Calculation (TCCS, rate tables, scales, calculation bases)
* TM integration with SAP ECC (invoicing) and non-SAP operational systems
* Manage SAP technical design and functional unit testing across end-to-end use cases
* Support data conversion between SAP and non-SAP systems to enable integration testing
* Collaborate with multiple delivery teams and the client's SAP support partner
* Provide solution support with a forward view to lift-and-shift to SAP S/4HANA
Skills & Experience
* 5–10 years' experience as an SAP TM / Logistics Execution Consultant in large, complex IT environments
* Proven expertise in SAP TM and LE modules, with strong SD and FI integration knowledge
Hands-on experience
* WRICEF objects (design, testing, functional specifications)
* BOBF, BAPI, BADI, EDI, ALE, API interfaces for logistics and billing
* Configuration of SAP-TM organisational & planning elements (routes, freight units, equipment, sales areas)
* Business partner configuration, forwarding & freight order types, settlement, events, PPF, invoice outputs
* Order-to-cash, intermodal freight, 3PL logistics, and planning/execution processes
* Charge calculation and settlement scenarios (periodic, cash sales, tiered logic, index-based pricing)
* Integration experience with SAP LE-TRA, WM/EM/SD/FI, AIF, and third-party applications
* Strong background in master data setup, CIF integration, BRF+ rule configuration
