The role
Lettings Administrator - Herne Hill
My client, one of South London's leading Estate Agencies, are currently seeking a junior Lettings Administrator to join their vibrant office in Herne Hill.
You will be supporting a close knit Lettings team, handling move‐in files and overseeing all tenancy paperwork from offer to move‐in. The role requires a get‐up and go personality, excellent eye for detail and an excellent telephone manner.
Key Duties
- Progressing tenancies from point of acceptance to move‐in
- Drafting tenancy documents
- Handling guarantor agreements and standing orders
- Arranging inventory check‐ins, cleaning, gas safety records and portable appliance tests for properties
- Resolving queries raised by landlords and tenants regarding tenancy and file progression
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors, landlords and tenants
- Uploading listings for rental properties onto the website and portals
- Controlling reference acquisition through a third‐party reference company
- Ensuring all finances and move‐in funds are received
- Providing support to the Lettings Team
Skills And Experience Required
- Ideally some proven property administration experience, although not essential
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Proactive and positive approach
- Ability to manage own workload, multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills and telephone manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
Salary
£26,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm
