The role

Lettings Administrator - Herne Hill

My client, one of South London's leading Estate Agencies, are currently seeking a junior Lettings Administrator to join their vibrant office in Herne Hill.

You will be supporting a close knit Lettings team, handling move‐in files and overseeing all tenancy paperwork from offer to move‐in. The role requires a get‐up and go personality, excellent eye for detail and an excellent telephone manner.

Key Duties

  • Progressing tenancies from point of acceptance to move‐in
  • Drafting tenancy documents
  • Handling guarantor agreements and standing orders
  • Arranging inventory check‐ins, cleaning, gas safety records and portable appliance tests for properties
  • Resolving queries raised by landlords and tenants regarding tenancy and file progression
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors, landlords and tenants
  • Uploading listings for rental properties onto the website and portals
  • Controlling reference acquisition through a third‐party reference company
  • Ensuring all finances and move‐in funds are received
  • Providing support to the Lettings Team

Skills And Experience Required

  • Ideally some proven property administration experience, although not essential
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Ability to manage own workload, multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and telephone manner
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

Salary

£26,000 to £30,000 dependent on experience

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm
