Airworthy Maintenance Leadership Role
Queensland Government Air is seeking an experienced Airworthiness Manager to lead a team of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers supporting our Fixed Wing operations in Pinkenba and Cairns.
You will plan, organize and supervise all engineering activities ensuring all maintenance meets the highest regulatory standards. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will also oversee engineering functions including tooling, procurement, records management and training.
We are looking for a dedicated aviation engineering management professional who thrives in a leadership role with a commitment to safety and maintaining airworthiness.
About the Role
* Control, organize, plan, and supervise all engineering activities
* Responsible for ensuring all aircraft maintenance is conducted with the highest standard of regulatory compliance
* Manage all engineering activities associated with tooling, procurement, records management, and training
Requirements:
1. Possess a current CASA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 & C Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence
2. Minimum ten (10) years' experience as a LAME in aviation maintenance and engineering management and coordination
3. Advanced knowledge of current CASA regulatory legislation as it relates to a CAR 30 and/or Part 145 maintenance organisation
