We are currently accepting applications for a part-time Inventory Assistant to work onsite in our Caringbah head office within our Shimano Australia Fishing team.
Reporting to the Inventory & Purchasing Manager, the primary objectives of this role include but are not limited to:
1. Setting up of purchase orders and ensuring that purchase orders are correctly maintained whilst in Pronto ERP
2. Data entry Shipment invoices into Pronto
3. Liaise directly with freight forwarder & custom brokers to ensure DIFOT import shipments
4. Keep track of all incoming shipments and allocating associated charges
5. Maintaining Inventory records and items stored within the warehouse (includes warehouse product data collection including setting up of barcodes, accurate interpretation, compilation, and entering data into the computer system.)
6. Register new products in system and maintain constant update of product data
7. Processing Supplier Invoicing including checking of freight costs for shipments
8. Assist spares department in managing pronto data, purchase orders and incoming shipments
The successful candidate will have:
9. Previous experience in freight forwarding, warehouse operations or logistics
10. Excellent written and verbal communications
11. High level computer literacy and confident using Microsoft Excel, with a minimum typing speed of wpm
12. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
13. Confident in data analysis and interpretation
14. Proficient in collaborating cross-functionally to deliver analytical outcomes
15. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a busy team
16. Prior knowledge of Pronto ERP (highly regarded)
