We are seeking an experienced Access Fibre / Wideband Design Engineer to join our network operations team. This role is responsible for delivering end-to-end fibre feasibility assessments and wideband design solutions to support Enterprise, Government, Retail, and Wholesale customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess fibre network availability and conduct detailed feasibility analysis to support Fibre Requests within the Lighthouse system.
* Develop and deliver tailored fibre solution proposals aligned to defined technical and commercial parameters.
* Perform end-to-end Wideband design across multiple product sets, including Enterprise, Government, Retail, and Wholesale services.
* Interpret network records and database information to determine optimal routing and infrastructure solutions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely solution delivery.
* Ensure all designs meet network standards, cost requirements, and operational guidelines.
* Planning and Design experience in diverse fibre requirements is highly desirable
Technical Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in fibre planning and/or end-to-end Wideband network design.
* Strong working knowledge of Telstra DBOR systems, particularly TPD, NetMaps, PlanNet, and ADR.
* Experience using tools such as InfraCo Portal, T-Networks, TPNI, and Lighthouse (highly desirable).
* Solid understanding of fibre access network architecture and infrastructure design principles.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data, schematics, and database records.
