Flexible work arrangements are available.As the Principal Project Officer, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Support the development, implementation, and continuous review of programs and projects related to student engagement, bullying prevention, and inclusion, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and priorities.Provide state-wide coordination to support communities, schools and regions to reduce, prevent and respond to bullying, including managing timelines, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the alignment of actions with broader departmental objectives.Create and maintain project evaluation documentation, including progress reports, data analysis, and feedback summaries, to assess the impact and effectiveness of initiatives.Manage competing priorities and demands, ensuring timely access to up-to-date, accurate analysis and information for colleagues and leaders, particularly regarding student engagement and bullying prevention initiatives.Prepare and coordinate reports, submissions, briefings, presentations, and meeting notes for project leaders and senior officers, ensuring all materials are clear, concise, and relevant to the project objectives.Draft and manage correspondence and responses to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals, departmental policies, and the broader vision of student engagement and wellbeing.Contribute to stakeholder engagement efforts, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners, and ensuring their involvement and support for bullying prevention and response.Support the integration of digital tools and resources into project workflows to enhance productivity, communication, and the sharing of best practices across the department.Ensure compliance with financial and resource management requirements, assisting with budgeting, resource allocation, and reporting as necessary for project success.Assist in the identification and management of risks related to project delivery, providing solutions and alternatives to mitigate any potential challenges to the successful execution of initiatives.About YouThe successful applicant will have the following key attributes:High level knowledge and understanding of evidence-informed student behaviour and wellbeing practices that contribute to the prevention and response to bullying;Demonstrated project management expertise, with the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in complex and fast-paced environments;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to apply evidence and stakeholder insights to inform practical, system-wide solutions that improve student outcomes.Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Ability to build and sustain effective working relationshipsInterested?
