Lead the HSEQ team nationwide to ensure the Company puts safety first, maintains ISO accreditations and implement industry leading safety practices.The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Head of HSEQ to lead, implement strategies and manage our Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental systems across our national operations. This crucial role will ensure the continued success of safety and quality standards throughout across our 12 sites.Reporting directly to the Regional Managing Director, the Head of HSEQ plays a vital part in managing safety compliance, fostering stakeholder engagement, and overseeing the implementation of industry-leading safety practices. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team and a trusted advisor to management, you'll lead risk management efforts, provide regular reporting, and uphold safety as a core value in all operations.This position has a national remit and can be based in either QLD (Yatala), NSW (Smithfield, Sydney) or VIC (Epping).Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and maintain Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Environment (HSEQ) and compliance programs across all sites.Develop the annual HSEQ action plan and long-term improvement roadmap and provide monthly updates to the Executive Leadership Team.Support site operational managers in achieving their HSEQ KPIs via coaching and providing technical advice.Develop and track key objectives and results (OKRs) with lead and lag indicators to measure HSEQ performance.Implement new and existing HSEQ legislation, regulations, and company standards across all sites.Coordinate regular inspections and audits, ensuring records are up to date.Oversee preparation for annual and triennial HSEQ audits.Collaborate with the People & Culture team and senior leaders to coordinate HSEQ-related training.Embed HSEQ policies and procedures across all operational sites.Lead, coach, and develop the HSEQ team.To be successful you will have:8 years' experience in a senior Safety, Quality, Compliance (SQC) management role or as a Senior Safety Advisor, ideally within manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering environments.Tertiary qualifications in Safety, Environmental Science, Manufacturing, or Engineering.Accredited Lead Auditor certification to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems).Accredited Lead Investigator certification in ICAM methodology (or equivalent investigation method).Proven experience with ISO accreditation standards, including ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).Comprehensive knowledge of legislation, systems, and risk management frameworksExcellent writing skills with the ability to produce high level, detailed reports, policies, procedures and documentation.Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.Ability to travel interstate on a bi-monthly/quarterly basisAbout UsKingspan Water & Energy Pty Limited is a market leader in water storage, rainwater harvesting, and wastewater treatment solutions.
