About the role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented casual Cleaner to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment across the School’s facilities, supporting both day-to-day operations and the overall presentation of the campus.
This is a flexible casual position, with shifts available across early mornings, afternoons and evenings, depending on operational needs. It is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a positive school environment.
You will:
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across classrooms, offices, amenities and shared spaces
* Perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and waste removal
* Clean and sanitise bathroom facilities and replenish consumables
* Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns
* Follow all workplace health and safety requirements, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
* Support periodic and deep cleaning tasks, including during school holiday periods
* Work collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team
You have:
Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial cleaning experience highly regarded, but not essential)
* A strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards
* Reliability, flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
* An understanding of workplace health and safety practices
* A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or the ability to obtain one
