Experienced Travel Consultant

Location:Sydney NSW

Employment type: Full time

Salary:$70k - $80k p.a. + Super

Key Responsibilities

· Create and customise domestic and international travel itineraries tailored to clients' preferences, interests, and budgets.

· Manage full-service bookings including flights, accommodation, transport, insurance, activities, and tours.

· Provide end-to-end travel consultation, ensuring a seamless customer experience from enquiry to post-trip follow-up.

· Lead and escort group tours, ensuring smooth logistics, group safety, and a fun, engaging atmosphere.

· Act as the main point of contact for group travellers during tours, managing schedules, accommodation check-ins, local guides, and any on-the-go adjustments.

· Share destination knowledge and cultural insights while on tour, enhancing the group's overall travel experience.

· Develop and maintain strong client relationships through outstanding service and personalised recommendations.

· Keep up to date with travel trends, supplier promotions, and visa/entry requirements.

· Meet sales and service KPIs in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

· Assist with marketing and promoting small-group tours, particularly for Chinese-speaking travellers (if applicable).

o Handle issues calmly and professionally both in-office and during tours, with a strong focus on customer care and satisfaction.

Selection Criteria

· Minimum of 5 years in a tour guiding role

· Strong verbal communication skills.

· Demonstrated experience handling logistics and multi-day tour management

· Strong presentation, group facilitation, and problem-solving skills

· Relevant guiding certification or industry training is advantageous

· Willingness to work weekends and peak tourism seasons
