Job Opportunity
A seasoned professional is sought after to spearhead business development and drive the AWS Professional Services sales motion. This role entails engaging with new customers in transformative projects involving technology strategy, migration and modernisation, data, AI and GenAI.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identifying and developing new opportunities for AWS Professional Services within new and existing territories
* Developing and executing account plans, working closely with AWS Sales teams
* Owning the sales motion end to end, including prospecting, qualification, and closure
* Leading sales to delivery for AWS Professional Services consultants
* Serving as a trusted advisor to customers
* Supporting complex RFx responses and direct bids
* Managing strategic pursuits and orchestrating internal teams to accelerate deal closure
Essential Qualifications:
* At least 10 years of experience in consulting, designing, and implementing serverless distributed solutions
* 5+ years of cloud-based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network, and operating system experience, or Bachelor's degree
* 10+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex and large-scale project management experience
* 7+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience
* Ability to obtain Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearances (NV1 or above)
