Celebrating 10 years of serving fresh Southern Australian seafood, Fisho's Torquay is looking for a talented and motivated Head Chef to lead our small, passionate team.

What You'll Do
- Lead by example with hands-on leadership, inspiring our kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality, innovative dishes.
- Develop and showcase seasonal menus and daily specials that highlight the best local seafood.
- Manage daily kitchen operations — including rostering, stock management, ordering, and ensuring compliance.
- Identify opportunities for improvement to keep our kitchen running smoothly.
- Provide training and mentorship to help our team grow their skills.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and peak holiday periods.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to deliver a relaxed yet exceptional casual dining experience.
What We're Looking For
- A proven Head Chef with experience managing a small team and creating innovative, seasonal menus OR an ambitious, experienced chef looking to take the next step into a leadership role.
- A genuine passion for preparing and cooking seafood.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with a positive attitude and a desire to lead and motivate.
- A passion for using fresh, locally-sourced seafood and ingredients.
- Flexibility and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Australian work rights are required for this position.
- Food Safety Supervisor certification is desired for this role.
