About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our Sales team in Bundaberg. This part-time, field-based position reports to the Branch Manager and Sales Manager whilst working closely with a team of territory Sales Representatives, and is responsible for maximising the availability and visibility of Max Stocks' products, representing the company with pride, and building positive relationships with our customers. Responsible for ensuring Streets Ice Creams shine in retail freezers, you'll be delivering happiness on the daily
Responsibilities include:
* Build effective business relationships with a variety of customers.
* Undertake product management, including maintaining stock levels, positioning, stock rotation, ticketing and facing.
* Take orders and manage and resolve customer queries about products, prices, availability, and issues.
* Promote special offers and new products.
* Work positively and co-operatively within a busy sales team and other internal stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities and report them to the Sales team.
* Local travel around wider Bundaberg region (no overnights).
About You
You will bring to the role:
* Previous experience in the food industry, ideally in merchandising or retail sales.
* Exceptional customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a friendly yet professional approach.
* Strong self-motivation with the ability to effectively manage your time and work autonomously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound literacy with navigating information technology tools and programs.
* A current Queensland driver's licence
* Excellent personal presentation.
* Good physical fitness - this is an active role which will require regular bending, squatting, lifting, and carrying.
