Darwin Private Hospital is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Educator to join their established Peri-operative team.
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing hands-on educational support and clinical teaching/facilitation to graduate nurses and students, taking on a leadership role.
2. Promoting a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients through dissemination of current best practice knowledge.
3. Ensuring staff compliance with annual Mandatory Training and completion of eLearning components.
4. Attending relevant policy and procedure meetings, ward meetings, and bi-monthly Education Meetings.

* Current AHPRA Registration
* Post Graduate Certificate in a related specialty area
* Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE) or working towards it
* Experience as an educator in a similar role
* Experience with eLearning platforms
* High computer literacy, including MS Office
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
If successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience, aligned with the current Healthscope and Darwin Private Hospital Nurses and Midwives Enterprise Agreement 2021-2024 ($57.97 per hour).
