We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medium Rigid Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team at North West Refrigerated Transport in Burnie, TAS. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to our valued customers across the Burnie area. Early morning starts 2.30am and Saturday morning work on a rotational roster.
Responsibilities
* Safely operating a refrigerated delivery van to transport a variety of goods to multiple drop-off locations
* Carefully loading, unloading and handling goods to maintain product integrity
* Providing exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and communicating proactively with customers
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and liaising with the dispatch team
* Adhering to all relevant safety, compliance and operational procedures
* Completing daily vehicle inspections and reporting any issues
Qualifications
* A current Medium Rigid licence is a must
* Demonstrated experience in a similar multi-drop delivery role, ideally within the courier, logistics or transport industry
* Strong time management and organisational skills to efficiently plan and execute routes
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* The physical capability to lift and manoeuvre goods of varying weights and sizes
