Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our leading Finance team in Melbourne, working predominantly with clients in the energy industry.
In this role, you will work closely with the highly regarded and personable Partners, Jon Evans and Gerard Pike. They have an exciting energy and infrastructure practice and are keen to invest in those who are genuinely excited about the energy sector.
You will gain high-end advisory and transactional experience working on a range of financing matters including significant project, acquisition and corporate finance transactions focusing on the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
You will have a high level of client exposure and opportunities to develop a network of relationships. You will benefit from exceptional learning opportunities working in a team of supportive, talented and down-to-earth professionals.
What you'll do
* Join a market-leading Finance team advising on Australia's most complex and high-profile transactions across the energy and infrastructure sectors.
* Work on cutting-edge energy projects with a strong focus on renewable energy including large-scale wind, solar, battery and hydro projects
* Work on large-scale infrastructure projects spanning transport, digital technology, telecoms, healthcare and natural resources
* Advise on both domestic and international projects, working closely with colleagues domestically, but also in the wider global network.
* Make a real impact in a supportive, forward-thinking team that values innovation, collaboration and excellence.
What you'll bring
* 5+ years of post-admission experience
* Experience in general finance, with a strong interest in the energy sector
* Experience in project or energy financing is beneficial, but not necessary
* Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in working as part of a cohesive team
* Have a hunger to learn, develop and be a part of painting a market-leading practice
* An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies
