The role
The key responsibility of this role is to support the team and assist with delivering IT support across the business. You will report to the IT Services Manager and be responsible for providing level 1 and level 2 IT support, monitoring key systems and infrastructure, and overseeing the onboarding and support of users across our national footprint. You will assist the IT department in day-to-day operations, projects and IT set up of both software, hardware and other equipment.
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and networking issues and resolve IT support tickets from retail team members and head office team members as soon as possible
- Ensure IT equipment and systems are working efficiently across the business.
- Set-up of new team members, including accounts, programs, software and hardware to ensure new team members have all required equipment for their first day.
- Ensure all offboarding and deactivation of existing employees is complete to keep office site and systems secure.
- Record and log all calls and issues to analyse common issues and continually improve processes and procedures.
- Ensure Cyber Security across the company is managed, downloaded on all machines and health checks are completed
- Ensure full management of the Microsoft 365 programs across group
- Manage active directory so it is compliant and up to date
- Build strong customer support relationships with all stakeholders on projects, system integrations, and troubleshooting to continually improve processes and update systems and networks.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-2+ years in IT Support
- Desirable - experience with AP21 and Shopify 2.0 (or equivalent ERP/Retail systems)
- Desirable - experience supporting Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail technology solutions
- Experience supporting Point of Sale (POS) systems and retail technology solutions
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications (such as Microsoft Dynamics), and cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
