Due to ongoing growth in our business, we are seeking a CAD Draftsperson / Designer with experience in product design to join our Engineering Team. This role focuses on CAD drawings and technical design, while also providing the opportunity to collaborate on broader team and client-initiated projects. You will work closely with our expert Sales Team, Project Managers and Engineers to ensure designs meet both creative and production requirements across a diverse range of automotive driven projects, offering you the opportunity to develop both your technical expertise and creative design skills.

Role Skills and Expectations
* Demonstrated experience as a CAD Designer / Drafter in a design or manufacturing environment
* Minimum 1-2 years of CAD Designer/Drafter experience required
* Proficiency/knowledge in CAD software such as Solidworks
* Proven ability to produce accurate technical drawings, layouts, and manufacturing documentation
* Sound understanding of production processes, materials, tolerances, and design-for-manufacture (DFM) principles
* Knowledge of vehicle electrical wiring and installation of vehicle aftermarket electrical products
* Experience in managing design revisions, version control, and standard engineering change processes
* Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal/external stakeholders
* Proactive, positive, and able to perform under pressure when required
* Pride in delivering high-quality work, with excellent attention to detail
* Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
* Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence
* Must have Australian work rights
