Applications are invited from Registered Nurses that are currently working within the Emergency & Critical Care division to backfill Long Service Leave for the incumbent NUM of Wodonga ED & COU.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside our current leadership team in developing confidence and skills in leadership and the day-to-day management of these busy departments.
It will give you an opportunity to develop some key areas of the NUM role that include:
* Workforce development and rostering
* Quality and risk management
* Demand escalation
* Resource and financial management
Candidates meeting the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
* Completed Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency or Critical Care Nursing
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to adapt and respond to complex situations
* Ability to recognise, escalate and respond to situations that present risk to safety for patient or team
* Strong professional role model with recent mentoring experience
