**Role Overview**
Macquarie's Central Group Litigation and Investigations team provides specialist advice on significant contentious matters escalated from across Macquarie's diverse businesses and support groups.

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide autonomous advice on a diverse caseload of litigation and investigation matters across Macquarie Group to senior stakeholders.
* Formulate and execute litigation strategy, identify and evaluate evidence, conduct witness interviews, oversee eDiscovery reviews, prepare and present investigation reports, manage external counsel teams.
* Design and implement frameworks that improve the conduct of contentious matters across Macquarie, related reporting and training activities.
About You:
* 5+ years PQE in private practice advising on complex disputes for highly regulated clients, including financial institutions.
* Significant experience of investigations or enforcement proceedings involving Australian financial regulators (e.g. ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC, ACCC).
* Prior in-house experience at a global financial institution would be beneficial.
* Strong prioritisation, project management, creative problem-solving skills.
* Ability to excel under pressure and build trust with stakeholders.
