Teacher of Electrical Trades - Paid to Learn
Permanent full‐time and permanent part‐time (0.4 FTE – 14 hours per week) positions at the Dubbo Campus.

You'll deliver hands‐on, practical training designed to help students build real, job‐ready skills while mentoring and supporting learners from all walks of life. You'll stay connected to the industry and enjoy a balanced lifestyle with flexible working options.
Essential Requirements
* Appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications, including a minimum level of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent.
* Hold an appropriate NSW Electrical Licence issued by the Department of Fair Trading (endorsement NSW Contractor Licence or Qualified Supervisor Certificate) or be eligible to obtain it before confirmation.
* Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications for VET (or a willingness to undertake the full‐time 14‐week Paid to Learn course).
* At least five (5) years recent post‐qualification experience relevant to your industry gained no longer than five (5) years prior to application.

Paid to Learn: For candidates lacking a VET teaching qualification, there is an option to be paid while transitioning from industry to teaching. Successful completion of the 14‐week Training and Assessment course guarantees employment thereafter. Applicants holding the required teaching qualification remain eligible to apply.
Applicants for part‐time positions should note that participation in the Paid to Learn programme requires full‐time attendance of 35 hours per week for the duration of the 14‐week program.
Relocation to Dubbo
Optional relocation allowance may be provided for successful candidates.
