Design-Build Project Manager
A challenging opportunity exists for a Design-Build Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
Job Summary:
The Design-Build Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from planning to completion, developing business opportunities, and providing exceptional client service. Key responsibilities include leading project teams, preparing schedules, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead project planning, development, coordination, and execution to ensure successful completion.
* Develop and manage project schedules to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
* Prepare engineering project proposals in collaboration with department managers and marketing teams.
* Collaborate with design-build teams and subcontractors to assemble pricing, develop proposals, and determine solutions.
* Work directly with contractors to manage design-build projects.
* Make independent decisions and take responsibility for project engineering solutions.
* Represent the company in client and agency meetings to resolve questions and plan work.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Registered Professional Engineer license, preferably in Illinois.
Experience:
* 8+ years of experience in design and project management of water and wastewater projects.
* Ability to lead, manage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
