**The Role**
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Enterprise Risk, the Risk Officer will be provided direction in order to provide enterprise risk services for the department through:
- Delivering activities that develop, oversee, coordinate and implement the department's enterprise risk management and Comcover Insurance arrangements.
- Maintaining the department's enterprise risk management system and providing departmental user training for the system.
- Developing and assisting in the delivery of risk management workshops and training sessions, in a virtual and face to face environment.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
As a Risk Officer in the Enterprise Risk team, you will work in a dynamic, highly driven team delivering outcomes in a fast-paced environment. You would be expected to contribute to the sections key risk management initiatives in a project-based environment.
The successful applicant will understand the department's business and be able to draw on Corporate knowledge and networks to achieve required results.
Responsibilities of the APS Level 5 may include:
- Managing multiple tasks, within tight timeframes
- Assist the senior risk officers with facilitating risk workshops for different audiences and development of risk training and guidance materials
- Build positive relationships and networks across the department to support maturing and maintaining a positive risk culture
- Review and update risk documentation
- Manage the section's record management of shared drives and Outlook folders
