Overview

William Carey Court/Baptistcare – Busselton WA

Local aged care facility requires a few special people to visit and chat with clients who are experiencing dementia. Activities include sitting and reading, chatting, hand massages, doing puzzles together, having a cup of tea, and walks—one-on-one time.

Responsibilities

* Provide one-on-one companionship to residents experiencing dementia.
* Engage in calm activities such as reading, chatting, puzzles, and light hand massages.
* Offer social interaction and support in a respectful, patient manner.

Qualifications and attributes

* Calm demeanor and patience.
* Basic understanding of dementia is helpful.
