As part of our compassionate and hardworking staff, you will play an important role in the daily care of our animals and the smooth running of the clinic. This role may be suited to anyone wanting to get into the Animal Care Industry.
Job Details:
* Assisting with Patient Handling & Animal Husbandry (under the guidance of our veterinary team)
* General Cleaning (including floors, surgical instruments, cages, laundry)
* Stock Auditing
What We're Looking For:
* A self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team
* A love for animals
* Someone not afraid of hard work (this is a physically demanding role)
* Attention to detail to follow strict cleaning routines and ensure a safe, sanitized environment for our patients
* Previous experience would be ideal, but not required — we are happy to teach the right person

* Part time position available (Wednesday & Friday)

Our new state-of-the-art referral hospital is the only one in Australia to offer dedicated cardiology-only specialist referral for pets. The VCA hospital includes a cardiology ICU facility, the latest in diagnostic equipment and Australia's first cardiology hybrid surgical theatre where a wide range of interventional cardiac corrective procedures and open-heart mitral valve repair with cardiopulmonary bypass is performed. The VCA hospital includes a cats-only entrance, waiting room, ICU and day stay ward.
