Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Technician to join our dynamic team. This position offers excellent growth opportunities, including potential pathways into electrical apprenticeship for candidates who demonstrate commitment and show aptitude for expanding their skill set.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on cooling systems
- Diagnose system faults and implement effective solutions
- Work with various refrigeration equipment including chillers, cold rooms, and specialised cooling systems
- Collaborate with electrical teams on integrated HVAC and electrical projects
- Ensure compliance with Australian refrigeration standards and environmental regulations
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation
- Provide professional customer service and technical support
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Refrigeration Technician with relevant trade certification
- Current Australian refrigeration license
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial/industrial refrigeration experience
- Knowledge of refrigerants and environmental compliance requirements
- Experience with electrical controls and basic wiring (advantage)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport
- Robust diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Desirable Qualifications
- ARCtick license (Australian Refrigeration Council)
- Electrical knowledge and experience (strong advantage for apprenticeship consideration)
- Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Confined space and working at heights certifications
- First Aid certification
