Job Description

TEDS is a new service delivering integrated specialist care for adults with an eating disorder. We are seeking a Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of TEDS South, enabling the multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide leadership and direction in the development and management of a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist community intensive based treatment for adults with an eating disorder.
* Optimal clinical processes and individual client outcomes.
* Effective management of human and physical resources.
* Leadership, direction and change management to facilitate TEDS service development initiatives statewide and at a regional level, including the development and implementation of the model of care and relevant policies, procedures and guidelines.


Requirements

* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and possess specialist tertiary graduate or post graduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification; or completed, prior to the transfer of nurse education to the tertiary sector, an accredited hospital based program that lead to registration as a psychiatric nurse by the relevant nurse regulatory authority within Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the United Kingdom.
* Current Working with Children Registration.
* A minimum of 3 years current post graduate experience in mental health or relevant field.
* Experience and/or interest in working with people experiencing eating disorders or other mental health conditions.


Benefits

* Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (Pro rata).
* 12% superannuation contribution.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type.
* Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate.
