Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Procurement Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the organisation by providing strategic procurement advice and governance.
This role will play a key part in transforming the procurement function and provide guidance throughout the procurement and contract management lifecycle to support QTC's strategic objectives.
* Assist the Director of Procurement and Facilities in leading the team to ensure effective contract and service outcomes for QTC.
* Evaluate and implement procurement processes to align with the Queensland Procurement Policy and QTC's policies and procedures.
* Oversee the accurate entry of information into QTC's contract management system, including updating contract details and approval requirements.
* Provide expert advice on processes and authorisations required for entering into contracts with external vendors.
* Support the onboarding process for vendors onto QTC systems, including paperwork execution and management before vendors are added to Protecht and Finance 365.
* Manage vendor activities from source to contract and ongoing relationship management with key vendors and partners.
* Develop a comprehensive vendor and contract management framework to maximise outcomes for QTC and foster win-win relationships with key partners.
* Lead and manage team members in their daily duties.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or significant equivalent experience and understanding.
* At least 8 years of experience in roles demonstrating overall competency.
* Extensive experience in business operating model capability sets with proven results or capacity to deliver results across relevant areas.
* Personal drive, integrity, accountability, and a leadership style aligned with QTC's values.
