Role Overview
Regional Clinical Senior Dietitian – a senior clinician delivering high‐quality services and providing clinical and professional leadership to allied health professionals across the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network.
Site and Service
Whyalla Hospital and Health Services: a large regional hospital with 75 beds, emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, rehabilitation, mental health, outpatient services and a Cancer Resource Centre. Port Augusta Hospital and Regional Health Service: a 58‐bed facility offering emergency, general and surgical services, maternity, outpatient, chemotherapy, renal dialysis and paediatric services.
Responsibilities
* Deliver complex clinical and consultancy services with specialist expertise.
* Work independently with advanced clinical competence and reflective practice skills.
* Apply knowledge of service delivery, operations and workforce issues to guide practice.
* Provide advice on service development and practice redesign.
* Contribute to improving the quality, safety and community needs‐driven distribution of services, collaborating with allied health staff, managers and key stakeholders on models of care and workforce development initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
* Hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health Profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Allied Health Profession.
