About Us
InVeris Training Solutions, a global leader in immersive weapons training technologies, is seeking a strategically minded and operationally grounded executive to lead its Australian operations as Managing Director. Based in Wodonga, Victoria, this role holds full accountability for the commercial performance and strategic direction of InVeris Training Solutions Pty Ltd (IVTS-A), with responsibility for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
With over 90 years of innovation behind it, InVeris has deployed more than 15,500 live-fire ranges and 7,500 virtual systems globally, supporting military and law enforcement customers across 130 countries. Through its trusted brands, including FATS, and Caswell, InVeris delivers next-generation simulation and live-fire training platforms that ensure the safety, readiness and effectiveness of frontline personnel.
Reporting to the CEO and SVP & Chief Strategy Officer of InVeris Inc. (USA), the Managing Director will lead the Australian subsidiary with both autonomy and global integration. This is a rare opportunity to contribute directly to national defence and public safety capability while driving growth, governance, and innovation within a values-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide strategic leadership and full operational oversight across the ANZ and Southeast Asian region
* Maintain end-to-end P&L responsibility, including financial performance, forecasting and growth delivery
* Build and manage high-value relationships with Defence, law enforcement, and government agencies
* Lead senior-level contract negotiations and represent IVTS-A in public, regulatory and industry forums
* Oversee major proposals, tenders and procurement engagements in complex and regulated environments
* Ensure compliance with ASIC and WHS requirements and alignment with global quality and safety standards
* Drive internal leadership, staff engagement, and cultural alignment with InVeris’s global values
What We’re Looking For:
You are a commercially confident, strategic leader with strong operational grounding and a collaborative leadership style. You bring:
* Significant executive leadership experience with full P&L responsibility, ideally in a medium-sized enterprise with a regional or multi-jurisdictional footprint
* A proven background in the defence, law enforcement, aerospace, government contracting, or public safety sector, with a clear understanding of public procurement frameworks and regulatory environments is highly regarded.
* Demonstrated success leading major tenders, bids, or strategic pursuits, particularly within highly regulated industries
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience overseeing forecasting, budgeting, cost controls, and performance reporting
* Exceptional people leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, develop talent, and cultivate a high-performing, accountable workplace culture
* Experience in managing external relationships at the most senior levels, including with military clients, government stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and industry bodies
* Familiarity with ISO-certified environments (e.g. ISO 9001:2015) and proven risk and quality management leadership
* Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, engineering, or defence-related disciplines; additional governance or program management credentials (e.g. AICD, AIPM, Shipley) are highly regarded
* A leadership style that is principled, inclusive, operationally grounded, and aligned with a global values-based organisation
