About the Business Cabinet Office
Cabinet Office provides policyadvice and coordination services to support core executivegovernment functions, including Cabinet, Executive Council andCabinet Committees. It leads whole of government policy projectsand drives the policy priorities of the Premier as the Chair ofCabinet. Cabinet Office also provides advice on government boards,coordinates responses to South Australian Productivity Commissioninquiries, leads the whole of government regulation expiry programand administers the South Australian Government LobbyistRegister.
Role Highlights

Role Details
1. Assist in the identification, development and analysis oftimely, strategic advice on policy issues from a wholeofgovernmentperspective.
2. Support projects that contribute to policy aims.
3. Contribute to the provision of policy advice by providing timelyand well researched draft submissions, briefs and notes on policyissues, including Cabinet submissions.
4. Support senior officers to establish and maintaineffective working relationships and work with stakeholders acrossgovernment.
5. Assist in preparation for interdepartmental, interjurisdictionalor other meetings and attend as required.
6. Undertake research, provide advice and support in areas ofpolicy expertise and deliver minor projects.
7. Assist in the monitoring and following up of all requests forinformation, including the preparation of responses tocorrespondence.
8. Comply with employee and manager requirements of relevantlegislation, policies and procedures, including Code of Ethics, WHSand EEO requirements.
Special Conditions
4. The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
5. The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
6. This role requires a National Criminal History check.
7. Applicants for this role will be considered as part of a pool eligible candidates and may be invited for interview only when suitable vacancies arise.
