WA Country Health Service, KalgoorlieHospital is seeking Obstetric and Gynaecology ServiceRegistrarfor Fixed Term full time appointments for up tothree years commencing in February 2026, with possibility ofextension(s).
POSITION PROFILE
The service Registrar job is a uniqueopportunity to be exposed to a broad variety of general obstetricsand gynaecology including minimally invasive procedures.
* The department has threeconsultant Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, three registrars,one Intern and four GPOs participating on the out of hoursroster. The roster is one in four on call weekdays and one infour weekends.
* Work involves high riskantenatal clinics and gynaecological outpatients, three theatrelists per week, labour ward and maternity assessment unit,emergency consults in ED.
* You will be the firstresponder, review and manage patients as indicated under director indirect supervision by consultants.
The unit has accreditation to train forCertificate in Women's Health, basic and advanced DRANZCOG. Thedepartment is proud of its culture of hands-on and clinicalteaching There is protected teaching for registrars every Tuesdayafternoon including formal presentations, workshops, journal cluband joint obstetric and paediatric maternity and mortality meeting.Furthermore, the department is actively involved in the teaching ofmedical students at the Rural Clinical School every Fridayafternoon during term time.

Applicants must hold General AHPRARegistration, ideally at least PGY4 level and have six to 12 monthsexperience within Obstetrics and Gynaecology; with a preference forcandidates who have experience from Australia or a comparablehealth system.
