This position supports the delivery and sustainability of Higher Degree Research (HDR) programs, with a strong focus on recruitment, engagement, and strategic initiatives. Based in Sydney, the role contributes directly to UTS's research strategy and its ambition to develop the next generation of research leaders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Lead HDR recruitment initiatives, including developing and delivering an annual recruitment activity calendar aligned with the recruitment strategy. – Analyse recruitment performance through data analytics and reporting to evaluate outcomes and improve return on investment. – Develop and implement communication strategies to promote Higher Degree Research programs across digital, print, and web channels. – Collaborate with faculties and internal stakeholders to enhance the HDR student experience and support student wellbeing initiatives. – Contribute to strategic projects and process improvements within the Graduate Research School. – Support scholarship programs and key Graduate Research School activities. REQUIREMENTS – Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to produce procedures, guidelines, documentation, briefings, and web content. – Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines. – Ability to use initiative and work effectively both independently and collaboratively. – Demonstrated experience engaging with key stakeholders in implementing, administering, and supporting higher degree research candidature. – Current and valid work rights in Australia.
