The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Senior Workshop Technician to join the Katanning team. Reporting to the Workshop Foreman, you'll take the lead on workshop tasks, problem-solving, and occasionally assist with technical support on-site.
What you'll do
Assemble, service, and repair agricultural equipment.
Resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and auto-electrical issues.
Lead technical installation and support workshop staff.
Maintain quality standards and rework where required.
Deliver professional customer service and technical advice.
What you'll bring
Trade qualification in Mechanical/Diesel Fitting (preferred but not essential).
5+ years experience in a similar mechanical role.
Diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and *****V systems.
Welding ability (MIG/TIG) and confidence reading technical drawings.
Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Agricultural machinery experience will be highly regarded.
