What’s the role on offer? As an Airport Services Officer, you will play a key frontline role in delivering safe, efficient, and customer‑focused airport operations at Olympic Dam. This is a varied and hands‑on position where no two days are the same, from check‑in and boarding to ramp operations and flight preparation. You’ll work closely with our Ground Handling team to keep flights running on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. This role is ideal for someone proactive, energetic, and passionate about aviation and customer service. Please note: this is a local position based at Olympic Dam and is not a FIFO role. Who we are looking for? We are seeking a motivated team member who thrives in a fast‑paced operational environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service. You’ll bring: • Strong customer service focus and excellent communication skills • Ability to follow and apply company policies, procedures, and safety standards • Computer literacy and the ability to learn aviation systems quickly (e.g., AVANTIK) • A proactive, can‑do approach with strong problem‑solving skills • Ability to work well within a team and contribute positively to workplace culture • Solid time‑management skills and the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment • Willingness to undertake training and maintain required qualifications • Reliable, diligent work habits and a commitment to compliance and safety What you will need to succeed? • Ability to obtain and hold a Radio Operators Licence • Ability to obtain and maintain Dangerous Goods qualifications • Physical capability to perform ramp and baggage tasks • Commitment to OH&S, safety reporting, and security compliance • Ability to complete initial and recurrent training requirements Does this sound like you?
