Allygroup is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced Employment Lawyers with NV1 security clearance to support a high-profile Australian government client. If you have expertise in Employment Law and Work Health & Safety (WHS), we have multiple opportunities available:
* APS6 Employment Lawyer – Contract (Up to 12 months)
* EL1 Employment Lawyer – Contract (Up to 12 months)
* EL2 Employment Lawyer – 12-month non-ongoing contract
Key Duties
In these roles, you will:
* Provide high-quality legal advice on employment law, workplace relations, and WHS matters.
* Draft, review, and interpret employment-related documentation, including contracts, policies, and procedures.
* Assist with managing complex workplace issues, including disputes, investigations, and compliance matters.
* Support government clients in implementing legislative and regulatory frameworks.
* Contribute to strategic projects and policy development, ensuring best practice and risk mitigation.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical, timely legal solutions.
Our Ideal Candidates
We are looking for professionals who:
* Hold NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
* Have strong experience in Employment Law and Work Health & Safety within government or similar environments.
* Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex legal issues.
* Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Hold a law degree and a current Australian legal practising certificate.
