Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Clinical Fellow to join our team in the Dermatology Department at Alfred Health.
This is an excellent opportunity for a medical practitioner to gain valuable experience in clinical research, working alongside senior consultants and accredited registrars.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on multiple clinical trials, performing disease severity assessments, checking for adverse events, collecting blood samples, ECGs, and administering study drugs.
In addition to their clinical responsibilities, the fellow will also be encouraged to pursue a personal research project with the aim of publication.
This position is ideal for a medical practitioner who is PGY2+ and interested in applying for the Australasian College of Dermatologists training program in the future.
Responsibilities
* Conduct scheduled study visits for current clinical trials
* Perform disease severity assessments
* Check for adverse events
* Collect blood samples and ECGs
* Administer study drugs
Requirements
* MBBS, MD or equivalent degree enabling registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Successful completion of relevant postgraduate years
* AHPRA medical registration without conditions, undertakings or reprimands
