Discovery at Play Learning Centre is an Early Learning facility catering for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You will be nominated supervisor for our Vasse Centre, 77 occupancy.

You will be supported by a very supportive Approved Provider, Area Manager and Head Office team.
We prefer you to have exceptional operational experience and be an advocate for the highest quality care and education for our children, whilst supporting families and the local community. We would love to support you if you feel you have the passion and skills to grow.
Relevant qualifications and certificates required including: Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor qualifications, Working with Children Checks, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Police Checks and minimum 1 year Centre Director experience.
The Role
* Managing our centre in line with company policies, procedures and targets
* Develop a positive and engaging community presence
* Provide leadership, support and guidance to staff and students as needed
* Develop a positive, cohesive work environment for all staff
* Induct and support new team members
* Implement initiatives to encourage increased occupancy rate
* Ensure centre is compliant with all Centre policies, State Legislation and National Quality Standards
* Ensure Health & Safety standards are always maintained in line with Company standards
Required Experience
* A minimum of 1 year experience as a Centre Manager
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or hold a Diploma in Children Services
* A current Working with Children's Check and valid First Aid, Child Protection, Proda RA number
* Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process
* Strong experience creating and maintaining a Centre Quality Improvement ProgramExtensive experience within the Early Childhood sector
* Team player
* Excellent communication, leadership and management skills
* Highly organised and ability to multi-task
