Project Manager Opportunity
This is a freelance position for a Project Manager to oversee the development of highways schemes involving demolition and construction. The role requires day-to-day site supervision, subcontractor management, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
* Provide daily project oversight and coordination.
* Manage subcontractors to ensure timely and safe delivery of projects.
* Maintain compliance with health & safety, quality assurance, and environmental requirements.
* Proven experience in highways/civil engineering with expertise in culvert or drainage works.
* Strong subcontractor management and project coordination skills.
* Knowledge of CDM Regulations and temporary works.
* Hold relevant certifications such as CSCS (Project Manager), SMSTS & First Aid.
* Ability to interpret drawings/specifications with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* National Contract (NEC) contract experience.
* Small- to medium-infrastructure project exposure.
* Familiarity with digital project management tools.
