Are you an experienced credit professional who enjoys balancing strong credit judgement with great customer outcomes?
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Commercial Credit Assessor to join our team. In this role, you’ll assess and approve residential and commercial lending applications, work closely with lenders and stakeholders, and help deliver quality lending outcomes in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Assessing and underwriting residential, commercial and personal lending applications within delegated authority
* Completing financial analysis, serviceability assessments and risk reviews
* Supporting lenders and frontline teams with lending structure solutions
* Managing applications through to settlement, ensuring a smooth customer experience
* Building strong relationships with internal teams, brokers, valuers and solicitors
* Contributing to continuous improvement and lending transformation initiatives
* Supporting a strong customer focus, risk and compliance culture
What you’ll bring:
* Experience in commercial and/or residential lending within retail and business banking environments
* Strong credit analysis and financial assessment capability
* Knowledge of Australian lending regulations including NCCP and AML/CTF
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A collaborative mindset with a passion for customer service and quality outcomes
