The program aims to address the underrepresentation of women in operational roles within the waste management industry. To achieve this, an intensive training program has been designed for Heavy Vehicle Licensed Truck Drivers.
The program includes licensing and ongoing learning, as well as uniforms, personal protective equipment, and internal training to become competent drivers. Participants must hold a current unrestricted driver's license for at least 24 months, have a minimum of 8 demerit points remaining, and have no prior heavy vehicle driving experience.
