About the role
We are currently seeking a Technologist to join our Product Development team based at our Somersby, NSW facility. This is a full time permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investigate and recommend opportunities for improvements of manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, efficiency and safety whilst minimising costs
* Ensure manufacturing processes are in accordance with project’s and vendor’s specifications and provide the expected process functionality
* Developing, improving, maintaining and troubleshooting production processes and equipment
* Monitoring the performance of our production lines to identify technical issues or improvement opportunities
* Establishing standards and policies for operation, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance requirements of new and modified production processes
* Identifying root causes to technical issues and propose ultimate solutions to resolve issues
About you
To be considered for this position you will have:
* Relevant degree in Science or Engineering (chemical or process focus is beneficial, recent graduates will also be considered)
* Strong numeric, technical, and analytical skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral
* Working independently or as part of a team
* Self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner.
* Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
* Enthusiasm to grow your skills within an expanding organisation
