Heat Pump Product Designer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Heat Pump Product Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and testing innovative heat pump products that meet our high standards of quality and sustainability.
The role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on energy efficiency and sustainability through product development. Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and developing heat pump products that meet customer needs and preferences
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications
* Developing and maintaining design documentation, including technical specs, drawings, test reports and bills of material
* Supporting operations to reduce production costs and improve reliability, quality and performance
* Representing R&D on cross-functional project teams
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A mechanical engineering degree or refrigeration trade with design experience
* Strong design skills, including creativity, innovation and problem-solving
* Clear communication skills and a passion for innovation, sustainability and efficiency
* A team player with ambitions to grow within the organisation
