APS 6 Senior Procurement Officer
* 12-month contract with 6-month extension option
* Non-ongoing or S26 Transfer

The Role
Are you a procurement officer with experience in government procurements and contracts? Do you have experience with internal and external stakeholder management and Austender experience?
Do you have a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting?
Are you based in Canberra and have a baseline clearance?
If you answered yes to all these questions, then this just might be the role for you
Duties:
Understand and efficiently, effectively and ethically manage procurement processes Develop procurement strategies that provide the best basis to achieve value for money outcomes
Comply with all application legislation and policies
Assist in preparation and administration of market approaches for goods and services, including:
* Use appropriate panels and other forums to communicate requirement facilitate responses to supplier questions and clarifications collect quotes/tenders draft contracts
* Prepare request documentation
* Support contract management reporting
* Monitor legislation and policy developments to identify and keep up to date on public sector procurement issues.
* Contribute to drafting briefings for the Executive
