About the role:
This role is a great opportunity for a junior Technician to develop and advance their career in a growing business, enjoying the support and assistance from experienced Technicians and Project Engineers within our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing first-level help desk support to clients
* Logging, maintaining, and completing IT support tickets via the internal help desk system
* Identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting network, security, hardware, and software problems remotely
* Office 365 administrative tasks (e.g. creation of users, groups, and shared mailboxes)
* Administration of users/groups, etc in Active Directory
* Administration of business computer networks
* Provisioning of computer and network security and protection
* Preparing, deploying, maintaining, and repairing IT equipment
* Assisting other support staff in their duties, and escalating problems to a higher-level support technician as required
About You (Desirable Skills & Traits):
* Experience in an IT help desk role (desirable)
* An IT qualification at Certificate IV level or above, or relevant Microsoft certifications (desirable)
* Good understanding of basic IT principles across network, server, and desktop environments
* Familiarity with Windows desktop and server operating systems
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Strong ability to follow documented procedures, prioritise tasks, and self-manage workload
* Experience in the use of ConnectWise Manage and N‑Able N‑Central (desirable)
