About The Role We are seeking enthusiastic and self-driven individual to join the Greenfields team as a Therapy Assistant for 4 shifts per fortnight.
(Monday's and Friday's)
Location Greenfields is a suburb located in Mandurah, south of Perth.
Greenfields is easily accessible from the Kwinana Freeway's new extension and on the Perth to Mandurah train line.
Aegis Greenfields is an 'ageing in place' facility with High Care, Low Care and Extra Services accommodation available and has been designed to offer a broad range of accommodation and lifestyle options for 106 residents in five wings.
As an integral part of the team, you will: Provide mobility and exercise programs to our Residents under the direction and supervision of the Physiotherapist.
Provide recreational and other Therapeutic activity programs to our Residents under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
Participate in the organisation and planning of Therapy programs.
Deliver a range of Therapy-based activity programs as directed.
Complete accurate documentation in line with relevant guidelines.
Accompany Resident groups on outings.

Requirements of the role Hold a Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or higher/equivalent.
A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent/higher or experience (Desirable but not essential).
Have experience in a similar role preferred (Occupational Therapist Assistant or Physiotherapist Assistant).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities.
Sound written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Have empathy with the elderly.
Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
